Aglionby Porch Extension
This eco refurbishment project has transformed a solid walled detached house with a new super insulated porch and amenity area at one end and a dramatic triangular conservatory at the other. These additions if combined with the proposed external insulation will provide far greater energy efficiency, through reduced heat loss, passive solar gain using external wall as heat store. There is the intention to glaze at least part of the conservatory with Photovoltaic panels to take advantage of the new Feed-in Tarriffs to be introduced in 2010.
