A mixed use scheme in central Ambleside providing 150square metres of retail and 180 square metres of residential on three floors. This sensitive extension to a Grade II listed Building makes the most of a very constrained site. Using prefabricated insulated panels, the frame is clad in stone to match surrounding buildings providing high levels of energy efficiency. The scheme also creates a new public realm, providing a new pedestrian route through Mill Yard from the main Public Car Park with high quality hard and soft landscaping.
