The extension to this traditional cumbrian cottage is formed as an “invisible” annexe to main house using a traditional slated pitched roof form, and cladding. The design emphasises the dramatic views towards Helvellyn and St Johns in the Vale

Thermal upgrade to existing fabric using lime and wood based products. Prefabricated steel and highly insulated timber frame for new extension, high performance windows/doors, excellent airtightness. All electric scheme with multi fuel and back boiler supplement

Timber, steel, glass, natural slate cladding, timber windows and doors, timber floor finishes, non VOC paints and stains
